Known in Thai as Yant Pla Lai Phueak Koo (ยันต์ปลาไหลเผือกคู่). In Thai tradition the white eel incantation is centred on evading danger and belongs to an ancient protective practice: it is said that people once blessed water with the white eel incantation and rubbed it on the body, making the skin as slippery as an eel so that blades could not wound it.

An eel's smooth body glides freely through water. The Twin White Eel Yant draws on this to signify avoiding danger and slipping past obstacles, moving nimbly around difficulties without being trapped. In traditional belief it also signifies work, love and daily life flowing smoothly.

The pair of eels also carries the power of kindness, signifying treating others well and winning their goodwill, so that relationships flow just as smoothly.
