The Celestial Dragon Yant is Arjan Nit's signature piece. The dragon's body coils down from the shoulder and wraps the entire arm, its head resting on the forearm, with sacred script set among the scales. Few Arjans in Thailand tattoo dragon designs. Years ago an old master told Arjan Nit that he shares a deep bond with the dragon, which is why he puts special care into this piece.

The name "Celestial Dragon" comes from the Buddhist Eight Legions of Devas and Nagas, led by the devas and dragons who protect the Dharma and those who practise it. In Thai sak yant tradition the dragon symbolises authority, nobility and strength. In traditional belief this yant signifies deterring evil, protecting oneself, and bringing good fortune and achievement.

This XL full-arm piece takes a whole day to complete. It does not follow a fixed template: the master draws it freehand on the spot, shaping the dragon's flow and pose to the client's body and proportions, so every piece is one of a kind. If you already have a dragon tattoo, the master can also add the Celestial Dragon script and the Dragon Heart yant to it.
