Known in Thai as Bua Mongkut Phra Phuttha Chao (บัวมงกุฎพระพุทธเจ้า), meaning "the Buddha's lotus crown". In Thai sak yant tradition, yants named after the Buddha's crown are regarded as high-level yants, symbolising the merit of the Buddha and Buddhist virtue.
In Thai Buddhism the lotus is the sacred flower offered to the Buddha, a symbol of purity and awakening. Uniting the Buddha's crown with the lotus, this yant signifies protection through the Buddha's merit, guarding against evil spirits and danger for safe journeys.
In traditional belief it also signifies kindness and popularity, making it easier to win goodwill from others and smoothing negotiations and dealings. While the Lotus Talisman focuses on goodwill and charm, the Buddha's Lotus Crown centres on protection.
