In Thailand the gecko is known as "Jing Jok Chan Phrom" (จิ้งจกชั้นพรหม), one of the best-known yants for goodwill and likeability, signifying charm, popularity and attracting wealth, and especially favoured for negotiation and trade. The Nine Gecko Yant brings together nine geckos, each with its own power, uniting the meanings of the different gecko yants in one: the most complete gecko yant.

The nine geckos can form one complete image, or be woven into a Master-Designed Full Sleeve/Back/Body, placed in the open spaces between other yants to complete the whole piece.

Nine is the most auspicious number in Thailand: "kao" (เก้า, nine) sounds like "kao" (ก้าว, to step forward). In traditional belief the Nine Gecko Yant signifies all-round growth in wealth, popularity and fortune, moving forward step by step.
